The Lake County Chambers and AWT are partnering to host the 13th Annual Lake County Think Manufacturing Expo on October 1st, 2026, from 8:30 am-12:00 pm at Perry High School

We emphasize developing relationships between our county schools and manufacturers. By bringing these groups together, we aim to discuss and implement strategies to support high school students pursuing careers in manufacturing.

Understanding the significant need for qualified employees among our county manufacturers and the substantial economic impact of the manufacturing industry in Lake County, we established this event to better serve both our manufacturers and students. The Think Manufacturing Student Expo will provide teachers, guidance counselors, principals, and students with the opportunity to learn about various high-tech careers, other rewarding job opportunities, and the competitive pay and benefits offered in manufacturing. We are excited to continue providing a comprehensive “Think Manufacturing” Student Expo in the years to come.
